Commodity Forwarders is looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse team within our Operations department. The ideal candidate will be innovative, organized, have excellent people skills and great attention to detail. This is an exempt position with a yearly salary starting at $83,000 a year. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Seattle Branch.

Schedule: Hours and days to be determined.

Minimum Requirements:

• Overseeing the daily workflow of the warehouse operations, including scheduling, training and organizing our supervisor and agent teams.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in warehouse efficiency and creating and implementing new policies or procedures as needed.
• Collaborating with both internal and external customers to ensure efficient warehouse operations and proper staffing levels.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and federal, state and local requirements.
• Maintaining standards of health, safety, hygiene and security.
• Hiring, training, performance evaluation and continued coaching / mentoring of all new and existing warehouse staff.
• Identifying, scheduling and overseeing all preventative and as needed maintenance for warehouse facility and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 3 years of prior warehouse supervisory or managment experience, preferrably in a perishable / cold chain environment.
• Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English. Bilingual Spanish a big plus.
