Commodity Forwarders operates both as a truck broker and an asset carrier throughout the United States. From local pickup and delivery, trucking coast to coast or state to state, CFI is well positioned to handle your refrigerated trucking needs. In addition to our point to point ability, we have regularly scheduled consolidated service between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Seattle and Portland, New York and Boston as well as weekly service to various other destinations.
Moving cargo between airports or seaports may not cover the greatest distance a shipment might travel, but without the ability to get picked up or delivered from the shipper or receiver, the best transit could have little meaning. Understanding this is where CFI excels. Each CFI station has its own equipment or truck network to service that crucial first or last mile needs of our customers.
California Services
In addition to our local P&D, CFI operates daily shuttles between Los Angeles and San Francisco to move loose and ULD cargo between Los Angeles and San Francisco Airports. If our clients discover their supply chains benefit from using SFO as the point of arrival or departure instead of LAX, we can arrange collection of the import and delivery of the export cargo to SFO and return to LAX for further inland distribution or local delivery.
CFI also operates daily trucks from our LAX headquarters to all of California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and into the Pacific Northwest, serving the needs of our produce and seafood clients.
JFK-Boston Services
CFI operates daily trucking services between JFK Airport and Boston Logan as well as our CFI facilities in both cities. Our Boston seafood customers who need widebody lift throughout North America benefit from this service that runs to JFK. Conversely, we collect from international and domestic widebody operating airlines servicing JFK and bring the cargo to Boston for local distribution to restaurants, retail and markets. This shuttle also allows CFI to craft a domestic on-forwarding solution for cargo that arrives at JFK and needs to be forwarded by air elsewhere within the country.
