Commodity Forwarders is looking for a full time Warehouse Associate to fill a position within our Warehouse department.  This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate between at $14 – $17/hr. depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Honolulu Branch.

Location: Honolulu, HI

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday; 6 am – 2:30 pm or 2 pm or 10:30 pm

Your Role:

• Checking customer inventory upon receiving and able to communicate clearly via email and in person any damages, discrepancies or issues
• Responsible for monitoring both inbound and outbound cargo using computer based tracking system
• Comfortable adding notes within internal CFI system
• Responsible for manually breaking down cargo to include: re-stacking, insulating and verifying piece counts for accuracy

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the US and pass TSA background check
• 6 months to 2 years prior warehouse experience
• 6 months to 2 years forklift experience – manual/electric is a bonus
• 6 months to 2 years customer service experience
• Comfortable using a computer/iPod/scanner
