Commodity Forwarders Inc. is looking for a full-time Air Freight Logistics Customer Service to fill a position within our Operations department. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate between $19 and $23 an hour depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently handling various responsibilities with competing priorities as well as excellent customer service. Must demonstrate professional manners and effective communication when interacting with fellow employees and customers.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Promote a customer friendly atmosphere

+Arrange air bookings as requested by customers within the United States and Canada.

+Pro-actively track and trace freight movement and keep our customers updated.

+Work directly with warehouse and drivers to ensure our customers’ needs are followed through.

+Action billing tasks within the company guidelines.

+Be responsive to other department and stations requests

+Make sure all work adhere to the company’s policy standards

+Perform any other related duties

Education and Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Eligible to work in the US and pass TSA background check

Logistics experience preferred

+1 + years logistics experience is a plus

+Domestic Airfreight background is a plus
