Commodity Forwarders is looking for a part time CDL B Truck Driver to fill a position within our transportation department. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate between $25 – $28/hr. depending on the experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Honolulu Branch.

Location: Honolulu, HI

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Your Role:

• Transport perishable freight to and from company location to Airlines, Customers, and Cargo Facilities
• Comfortable using electronics such as iPods, computer
• Able to identity, document and explain issues and/or discrepancies with freight
• Comfortable utilizing a manual and or an electric pallet jack
• Comfortable loading and off-loading freight – to include manually stacking and or down stacking products
• Verify paperwork accuracy for shipment pick-ups and deliveries
• Verifying product accuracy for pick-ups and deliveries
• Assist warehouse team to shrink-wrap, apply labels and hand stack cargo as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the US and pass TSA background check
• Class B driver’s license
• Valid Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• Forklift Experience desired
• Manual/ Electric Pallet Jack experienced
• 1-2 years minimum driving with CDL B
